What we collect
Form data. When you use one of the enquiry or quotation forms on the site, we receive what you type: your name, email address and message and, depending on the form, your company, role, telephone number, project location, the finish or coating you are after, and details of the part, material and quantity. Forms reach us by email through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service.
Cookies and similar technologies. Only if you consent, analytics and advertising cookies process the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location (country and city level), device and browser details, and online identifiers such as cookie IDs. If you have consented and then send a form, your email address and, where given, your telephone number may be passed to Google in one-way encrypted (hashed) form to measure advertising conversions.
We never sell or rent your data.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Replying to your enquiry, preparing a quotation and corresponding with you: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interests (UK GDPR and GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f)).
Analysing and improving the site (Google Analytics): your consent (Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)).
Advertising measurement and remarketing (Google Ads, Meta Pixel): to measure enquiries that come from our adverts and to show adverts to past visitors on Google and Meta platforms; your consent (Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)).
Running the site and remembering your cookie and theme choices: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
Legal obligations, such as keeping business records and responding to lawful requests from authorities (Art. 6(1)(c); KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç)).
Who we share it with
We share your data only as far as needed for the purposes above, with these service providers: Web3Forms (form delivery), Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Maps), Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) and, once it is installed on the site, LinkedIn (LinkedIn Insight Tag). We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.
International transfers. Dekap is based in Türkiye, and these providers operate servers mainly in the United States and the European Union, so your data is transferred across borders. For analytics and advertising cookies, the transfer relies on the consent you give in the cookie banner. Form data passes through Web3Forms so that your enquiry can reach us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as your enquiry and any resulting business relationship continue, and afterwards for the periods required by law and for limitation purposes; we then delete, destroy or anonymise it. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the period set in each service. Cookies stay on your device for anything from the end of your browsing session to two years.

The map in our contact section is an embedded Google Maps window. It loads only after you accept cookies or press “Show map”, so Google stores nothing on your device beforehand.
Managing your cookie choices
On your first visit, the cookie banner lets you choose “Accept” or “Decline”. “Accept” switches on analytics and advertising cookies together. If you choose “Decline”, Google Tag Manager and the analytics and advertising tags inside it do not load at all. The site uses Google Consent Mode: analytics and advertising storage start as denied until you give consent.
You can change your mind at any time via Cookie settings at the foot of every page, which brings the banner back. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew. Article 11 of the KVKK gives equivalent rights, including the right to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data has been transferred, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
How to contact us or complain
Write to info@dekap.com.tr or to Ferhatpaşa Mahallesi, 16. Sokak, No:1/A, Ataşehir, İstanbul, Türkiye, telling us who you are and what you are asking for. We will reply free of charge within one month (30 days under the KVKK). If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK, to the data protection authority in your EU country, or to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurulu) in Türkiye.
